The UK is not taking any direct steps to respond to the humanitarian situation in North Korea. We believe that the UK's investment in the various humanitarian organisations working in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) represents the best way for the UK to assist the people of the DPRK. We are in close contact with these humanitarian agencies and continue to monitor the situation.
