The Lodge Trust Country Park Cafe Lodge Market Overton Rutland

The Lodge Trust Country Park Cafe Lodge Market Overton Rutland

Myself and a friend visited the Lodge Trust Country Park this morning.

My friend said the cafe has changed a lot since their last visit. "lacking
the atmosphere" they once enjoyed.

It all looks very smart and the residents who work in the cafe
seem happy to be working in the cafe.

Hannah shared with us it was soon to be her 28th Birthday
Happy Birthday Hannah.

We both had a breakfast which was good and filling.

Sadly the person who appeared to be in charge was not particularly
people friendly on this occasion it would be fair to describe as
a little bit rude.

The car park, not a place to use on a wet day unless you have
a spare newspaper on hand.

It's the same sloppy surface people moan about used for
the footpath between Preston and Uppingham.

We asked about the Lodge and the same member of staff said
they did not know anything about and suggested we might be
welcome to visit the house or grounds, stating it was
Private Property.

We decided to venture towards reception and were pleased
we did, another member of staff waved us in and explained
things in great detail and pointed out the open day and expressed
enthusiasm for the project and to think she has only been
employed their for about a year.
