Cllr Joyce Lucas BEM Causes extreme embarrassment and upset at Oakham in Bloom meeting held at Tesco
On Tuesday evening Cllr Joyce Lucas representing Oakham Town Council attended a Oakham
in Bloom meeting held at Tesco Oakham.
At that the start of that meeting Cllr Lucas's conduct fell extremely below that of what is expected
of a Council who represents our Council.
A simple explanation of Cllr Lucas's conduct is that her long term affliction to bully others
was inflicted upon a member of Oakham in Bloom because they are a friend of mine.
The incident was witness by all other members who I am told were extremely distressed
by Cllr Lucas's conduct.
For some unknown reason people in our community fear Cllr Lucas and won't stand up to
her. I don't fear her or the old guard and do stand up to her, yes at times it does make my life
hell but the crap that comes with being a Oakham Town Councillor should not spill out into
other community groups who do a wonderful job and my personal friends and family should
not be attacked by the very unkind individuals like Cllr Joyce Lucas BEM
It is my understanding Cllr Lucas has apologised to the Chairman of Oakham in Bloom
for her disgusting conduct and has indicated she is stepping down as the Town Council
representative on Oakham in Bloom.
Cllr Lucas failed to attend last nights Council meeting and missed the Chairman's 'sort of apology'
he gave due to her disgusting conduct at the meeting she attended in March.
It is my opinion Cllr Lucas is unfit to remain a Councillor, her conduct towards me and others
is vindictive and plain nasty and very damaging to the council and has been the case for many
years.
