Put children first
Education is at the heart of the Liberal Democrat agenda. Every child deserves the best start in life. But Conservative school cuts mean that children’s chances are determined too often by their parents’ income.
Children’s education is too often distorted by schools’ need to focus on league tables. Teachers deserve to be treated as professionals and given the flexibility to apply their expertise and develop children’s passion for learning.
