Alan Duncan MP, Rutland County Council, This groundless sniping should stop. Mercury Letter

Now our good honorable is a back bencher maybe
he will be seen more often here in Rutland then just
maybe he will learn just how revolting the Tory leadership
is here in Rutland.

And that is not groundless sniping if Mr Duncan had
attended court with the local Tory Circus he would
have seen Tory Chief Executive Lie in Court.

If he was about to read standards reports he would see how
the Tory leadership he is so proud of is permitted to insult its critics
in an offensive way.

I am pleased to say Leicestershire Police recently took a different
view about one of its own, when he behaved in a similar disgusting
manner.

Election 2015 is coming so I can only imagine Mr Duncan
is attempting to flatter the leadership to ensure they sign
his candidate papers.

After the Duchess of Rutland has signed it's normal for the
Leadership to sign, followed by a number of Tories who
can't think themselves or maybe seeking some favor?

On Monday I will be visiting Rutland County Council to
exercise mine and any residents right to inspect the accounts?

I will ask to see the accounts relating the prison, I want to
copy evidence of expenditure and income since the purchase.
A complete paper trail since hand over from the Ministry
of Justice.

I wonder if the council will be wanting to comply with the
law?

Alan Duncan MP, Letter, New Job, Internet Rule at Work and Home.

After finishing my first week in my new job, I was
suprised and pleased to receive the above letter from my MP. (Tory!)
Alan Duncan.

Internet rules relating to my employment forbid me from mentioning my
employer on-line on social networking sites.

I am not sure a blog is classified as social networking site, but I won't argue the
point as I share all blog posts on Facebook and Twitter which do fall
into the social networking group.

A employers name has been redacted from Mr Duncan's letter, because it mistakenly
names of one of my employers competitors! Not sure my employer would be
pleased if I gave them publicity.

A lot of people have asked me off-line who my new employer is, I have only told
trusted people and refused to tell anyone at Oakham Town Council.
I don't want people like Cllr Charles Haworth posting the company name and mine on
any future crude blogs or election posters they may care to produce in the future.

My employer is aware of my blog, I had a meeting with the company directors last
week, They have friends who are councillors so Cllr Haworth and Co yoou don't
need to attempt to ruin my employment prospects. They are also aware you're
Homophobic, Crude and Crass Blog.

Rutland speak up, don't allow this disgraceful situation at Rutland County Council to continue,
Alan Duncan MP, Who cares about the Postcode! J Park Barrowden

Week after week residents of Rutland are calling for the resignation of council staff
and the Leadership of the Rutland Tories.

It appears to be falling on deaf ears or being ignored?

I imagine the harassment hotline is ringing hot between Rutland County Council and Leicestershire
Police.

If the the Tory mob that runs our County can't stand the heat then get out!

Fabian Hamilton (Leeds North East, Labour) Departmental Pay International Development

Fabian Hamilton (Leeds North East, Labour)
To ask the Secretary of State for International Development how many officials in (a) his Department and (b) the non-departmental public bodies for which his Department is responsible are paid (i) £100,000 and (ii) £142,500 or more per annum.

Alan Duncan (Minister of State, International Development; Rutland and Melton, Conservative)
The Department for International Development (DFID) has: (i) seven officials who are paid between £100,000 and £142,499; and (ii) one official who is paid £142,500 or more.

Bob Russell (Colchester, Liberal Democrat) project in Burma the Myitsone Dam project

Bob Russell (Colchester, Liberal Democrat)
To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what estimate he has made of the number of people living in relocation sites as a result of the Myitsone Dam project in Burma; what assistance his Department has provided for such people in the last year; and if he will make a statement.

Alan Duncan (Minister of State, International Development; Rutland and Melton, Conservative)
Sources suggest about 400 households, including around 2,000 people, have been displaced to a new village. The Department for International Development has made no specific allocation to those re-located but is supporting NGOs which are providing assistance to 27,500 internally displaced people in other areas of Kachin State over the next four months.
It is important that the Burmese Government listen to the needs and interests of their people in deciding the future of this project. We note that Aung San Suu Kyi supported the President's decision to suspend the construction during her meeting with the Burmese Minister of Labour on 30 September 2011. We welcome this further stage of dialogue and urge the Burmese Government to ensure that it continues.

To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what contracts his Department has with A4e; and what the (a) purpose and (b) value is of each such contract.

Alan Duncan (Minister of State, International Development; Rutland and Melton, Conservative)
There have been no contracts centrally let by the Department for International Development with A4e.

MP Alan Duncan Hails £710,000 Rutland Broadband Cash

Alan Hails £710,000 Rutland Broadband Cash

Alan Duncan has welcomed the Government’s announcement that Rutland will become a pilot for Government funding, available immediately.

Alan had supported the County’s bid with several letters to and meetings with Ed Vaizey, the Minister responsible. Alan and the Council had to persuade the Government that Rutland should not be excluded from funding altogether because of its small size.

Alan commented on the decision, ‘This is a coup for Rutland. The Council and I have fought hard for this investment which will turn Rutland from a broadband black spot into a broadband hot spot.
‘In a time of change for the County, this funding represents a shot in the arm for local businesses and communities and will underpin growth in the County. Rutland can face the future with confidence.’

MP Chris Ruane, MP Alan Duncan, Departmental Charitable Donations International Development

Chris Ruane (Vale of Clwyd, Labour) asked the Secretary of State for International Development and Rutland and Melton, Conservative MP Alan Duncan what steps he is taking to encourage charitable giving by Ministers in his Department.

Alan Duncan (Minister of State, International Development; Rutland and Melton, Conservative)

All Government Ministers have pledged to undertake a ‘one day challenge’ with a charity or community group of their choice. This is a clear and public commitment by Ministers to give their time to help others. The pledge aims to inspire others to consider how they might be able to support their communities to benefit themselves, as well as their chosen organisations.

Alan Duncan: In answering this question, the Department has assumed that
the term "civil claims" refers to claims issued in England and Wales, in
the courts of civil jurisdiction (the High Court and the county courts).
The figures provided do not therefore include employment-related claims
pursued through the employment tribunals. There have been no payments
made by the Department for International...

Alan Duncan: The proportion of the total Department for International
Development (DFID) budget spent on staff pension contributions in
2010-11 is estimated to be 0.21%. Future contributions will be dependent
both on the level of contributions and the number of staff making them.

Alan Duncan: The recently undertaken bilateral aid review has refocused
the aid programme in fewer countries so that we can target our support
where it will make the biggest difference and where the need is
greatest. As a result, we will focus on programmes where the British
Government are well placed to make a significant impact.

To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what the cost to the public purse was of the manufacture and distribution of Department branded drinks coasters in the last financial year for which figures are available.
Photo of Alan Duncan
Alan Duncan (Minister of State, International Development; Rutland and Melton, Conservative)
During 2009-10 no money was spent centrally on Department for International Development (DFID) branded drinks coasters.
DFID works in over 40 countries worldwide and does not collate figures centrally of sufficient detail to identify expenditure on items such as drinks coasters. All country offices are required to seek central approval before spending any money on promotional items. No spending on drinks coasters has been approved since April 2009. This system of requiring approval for any expenditure on marketing will stay in place for the foreseeable future.

I like the young but less of the Vulnerable Mr Duncan unless you know something I don't what are the Tory Scum planning up at Rutland County Council next.

The false and damaging description of me has fortunately not done me much harm at the moment.

One of my followers suggested
I don't like Tory People.

That most certainly is not true "A lot of my friends are Tories" I just hate the nasty ones, the thugs the bigots they know who they are!

I like our MP Alan Ducan,  he appears to do nothing for Melton and Rutland, Maybe that is the role of a MP? he always says hi when he is around town. Of course he is not a friend of mine, but he is most certainly not my enemy.

I am regularly updated with his questions he puts to the commons and of course the answers, the five answers below just arrived.

Uganda pushes for the death penalty

The Ungandan goverment is considering send all its gay people to prison or even killing them.
It makes me feel Oakham is not so bad!

The African state feels being gay is a crime and wants to imprison anyone found guilty of such a crime and says anyone convicted who has HIV would be automatically sentenced to death penalty.

The UK's International Development Minister, our MP rAlan Duncan, said the government would be making urgent  representations.

Is that before after his visit?

I would not go!
