Martin Brookes Independent Candidate Rutland County Council Elections Greetham Ward

Martin Brookes Independent Candidate Rutland County Council Elections Greetham Ward
Canvassing the Greetham Ward today. I came across more of Conservative Roger Begy's supporters hate posters. surprisingly once again posters can be seen very close to his home. After three e-mails he has not distanced himself from these posters.

This gentleman is the Parish Clerk of Clipsham Parish Council and yes that is the official parish council notice
board. The Parish Clerk is responsible for displaying official notices in this board. So I asked him why the official notice of the election was not displayed and why a poster attacking me was displayed. He was unwilling to give me a answer, "he said a lot of things are going on at the moment and he was very unhappy about them and he was unwilling to tell me more" I do feel sorry for this man, He said he would take down the poster and return to his gardening. He is also the church warden.

Canvassing at Clipsham Hall

Canvassing at The Travellers Site Greetham if you see a dog behind a gate
don't enter just call the owner the dogs are true guard dogs.

Oh there is another of those nasty
Conservative hate posters, this time its Stretton.
Not removing it because most people said its
very nasty and childish and to be expected from
the Nasty Party. Rutland's Policing pledge has been
removed and put on the floor?

Another nasty party poster attacking me
not far from Conservative Roger Begy's home
in Greetham

The first of the Conservative supporters
hate poster at Thistleton

Here is another poster in Thistleton notice the air ambulance poster
this is a shameful link, but then not to be unexpected, the
person(s) who behaves like this often pretend to be do-gooders.

Another poster, free publicity in Pickworth
thanks to the hateful Conservative supporters of Roger Begy

More evidence of the Rutland Conservatives littering our countryside.

How sad is this person. At 4.03am they are still thinking of me whilst I am fast asleep.

It's getting very funny at the moment, someone put a brilliant poster up around Greetham telling the world what they thought about Brookes. Poor Brookesy, he hasn't got any transport so they're still plastered all over the villages!

Nominations Rutland County Council Elections Greetham Ward

Nominations Rutland County Council Elections Greetham Ward

This is the ward I am hoping to win, for many years now this has been Conservative Leader Roger Begy's Ward.

I like many people in Rutland believe it is time for change.

If you chat to people in Greetham you will hear stories from woman who claim to have be subjected to bullying. Property issues and I assume these are all true because when I mentioned one relating to property in Greetham, to a Oakham resident they immediately named the victim.

One Greetham resident said "You are very brave to stand against Roger Begy"

I can't imagine why?

I have delivered individual signed leaflets to all of Greetham and will be delivering soon to the other villages of the Greetham Ward.

I make no big claims and make a simple promise to serve the people of the Greetham ward. in a selfless manner.

I am also returning to Oakham Town Council, where I will fight to cut the extravagant spending if Upppingham Town Council can function with a income of £80,000 about the amount Oakham Town Council spends on Administration! Oakham Town Council can do much better.

One seat is contested

Roger Begy (Conservative) 25 Main Street, Greetham, Rutland, LE15 7NJ

Greetham Ward of the County of Rutland Nomination Vote May 5th 2011 Election Candidate, Rutland County Council

Today I was nominated by a Greetham resident to stand for Election
as a Independent Unitary Councillor for Greetham Ward of the county of Rutland.

The nomination was quickly seconded and assented by a further eight residents of Greetham, who I thank.

The ward includes:

Clipsham
Greetham
Pickworth
Stretton and
Thistleton.

Out of the twelve homes I visited, I was only rejected by two. One because the resident maybe nominating a friend across the road. Another said he could not sign anything and I must be a very brave person to stand against Roger Begy, I can't imagine why?

I am happy to accept the nomination as a Independent Candidate, my aim is to promote integrity and gain public confidence in Rutland County Council.

If elected I will work full time for the benefit of the residents of the ward.

Roger Begy Conservative Leader of Rutland County Fishing for cash at Oakham Canal

Councillor Roger B Begy (Conservative) - GREETHAM WARD  (Leader of the Council) was seen out fishing at Oakham Canal with his wife yesterday. I thought he was practising for his retirement from May 5th, no I heard him say "I'm sure this is were we hid that other million!!, Helen will be so cross if we don't find it!" Mrs Begy said "did we not deposit it in that nice charity box on the bar at the
Wheatsheaf Greetham?"

Mr Begy and his wife departed and celebrated coming first for another year, even though his council did not increase council tax this year in order to receive the council tax freeze grant. The tax bill is still the highest in England.

Chief Executive Helen Briggs the "mean and lean" queen is preparing to block MSN Money access at Rutland Libraries.

She was last seen  on the streets of Oakham waving newspapers begging voters "please ignore these headlines" "they have got it all wrong just like my chums at the Rutland Times"
