Star Plus and O2, in association with Sandicliffe Ford, welcome you to a glittering mix of live music, dance, food, fashion, arts and culture at the Leicester Belgrave Mela festival.
The biggest Indian Bazaar in the UK is a shopper’s paradise in Leicester Market, featuring fashion, jewellery and more. Experience a taste of the Golden Mile with a huge variety of mouth watering curries, tasty tiffins, delicious drinks and succulent sweets from across the subcontinent in our famous Indian food court.
The Mela stage will feature everything from Bollywood and Bhangra, to belly dancing and hip hop. This year’s headline acts include H Dhami, Navin Kundra, San2 and Sarika Gill, plus live performances from the best dancers and musicians from right here in Leicester.
Free workshops, street arts and cultural performances can be found across the festival. Look out for live performances by the famous Jaipur Kawa Brass Band, plus international rangoli street artist Janak Chauhan will be adding a splash of colour to the city centre streets.
Join us, along with a few celebrity guests, for a free, fun-filled day of Indian culture and South Asian arts for the whole family.
