Oakham Market Day 23rd June 2021 A Very Quiet Day A Lot Of Police Patrolling The Town Due To The Religious Festival Being Held At The Showground.

I caught the TV news item on the BBC local news this evening I was puzzled why some one at Cavells was saying 50% of the shops were closed or serving from behind closed doors. I did not any others. Even the lady know as the sweary lady in Mill Street had her door wide open.

I think fear has certainly won this week here in Oakham. :-(
