Rutland Refill Eco-shop Deli Cafe Oakham Rutland #shoplocal #shopoakham #oakham #rutland

Rutland Refill Eco-shop Deli Cafe Oakham Rutland #shoplocal #shopoakham #oakham #rutland

My first visit to Rutland Refill Eco-shop Deli Cafe Oakham Rutland a lovely little shop and cafe. I  had a coffee and a delicious cheese and walnut scone . I purchased so crisps and a can of whole earth cola. I am not sure how the makers can call it cola it tastes absolutely disgusting. Its the first time I have ever tipped a drink down the sink. I should have remembered I had previously had another flavour from this company via Amazon the drink was drinkable but did not taste of what it should have. I am pleased I can now buy Two Farmers crisps locally.

Chocolate Box Oakham Cafe Oakham High Street

A kind friend treated me to a Hot Chocolate at the Chocolate Box.

It was a bit expensive, Hot Chocolate drink was perfect for a cold day warm and sweet topped with dollop of tin spray cream and marshmallows.

They don't have a lunch time policy like another establishment I can't mention.

We decided to opt for the mini pie at a extra cost of 50p,

Well it did say mini smaller than a 50p piece, so we cant complain! good for the Christmas diet!

The service was good and for the first time we enjoyed the space upstairs. We decided not to sit downstairs and disturb Carpet Burns and his moment with his female companion.

Two Hot Chocolates and a single truffle and tiny mince pie £7.50

Married Woman's parting shot 1911 Liverpool Letter

Liverpool November 23rd November 1911

Married Woman's parting shot

Sir the remarks of your  correspondence are most amusing. Fools all! I have only to state there is nothing they can tell me. I myself was a waitress in a cafe before I married my incompetent husband. I wish I was one now.
