Cllr Joyce Lucas Why does she drive her van on her own?

I am very concerned for Cllr Joyce Lucas, I often see her driving her van/car around town on her own.
I often see her walking in and out of shops on her own.

I also saw Cllr Dewis walking alone around the town today very concerning and shocking well that's not describing the suede coat he was wearing. I hope he observed to pass onto his friends I was not wearing piss stained black jeans!

I spotted The Town Clerk  popping out for a fag on his own, must be a lonely job.

And most shocking PC King going to lunch on his own.

No I have not gone mad yet, just returning the same concern Cllr Lucas expressed to Standards for England about me walking around town alone.

Oakham Town Council Christmas lights switch on

The Christmas Lights will go up this Sunday throughout Oakham Town Centre.

There will be no official switch on.

Some Cllrs would like to see this become an event but each time it is rejected by the Town Clerk, the logistics would be to complicated.

It is never two complicated for lots of other small towns who use helpers and two way radios to give the illusion of simultaneous switch on.

Maybe next Christmas the clerk could use the nice mobile the council purchased and he could send a sms message to a group of helpers?

Martin Brookes Oakham Town Council and Standards For England

This week I received a transcript of my final statement relating to the ridiculous volume complaints made against me by Rutland Chat Room members and Oakham Town Councillors and their friends.

And the sole complaint RCC allowed to be passed to Standards For England regarding Cllr Joyce Lucas Conduct. (I am told she is a Liberal Democrat and this is why it allowed to be investigated none of my complaint against any of the Tory mob have been dealt with correctly)

It is clear from Standards questions from day one Oakham Town Council were not going to accept me as a Councillor and the friends like Mr Beech who asked the Town Clerk Richard White what he was going to do to get rid of me. I  don’t know what he expected them to do as at the same time he had raised five complaints against members because they he say showed him no respect when he came begging £12,000 from the council to set up another boys club with tax payers money.

Despite finding out Councillors told Standards they did not trust me and that is why they obstructed me, (Who do they think they are?) I continue to give up hours of my time to assist with the investigation.

I said I would be open as far as the law will allow with what I can publish.

So here are photograph of  my two statements.

These people have cost the tax payer a huge sum of money, just to stop me being a Councillor.

I still question why they did not stand some one of their thick friends like Cllr Dewis against me.
Surely that would have been cheaper.

And why did Rutland County Council call me in to a private meeting with Mr Pook and the head of corporate service days before the deadline for candidates? They were also able to remove postings attacking me on the Rutland Chat Forum when I said I would complain to the electoral commission.

Although it looks a lot of text it is
not a complete accurate transcript of the recorded interview.

I do not say Yeah or You Know and why all the …….  ?

Oakham Town Council next full meeting Victoria Hall Oakham

Oakham Town Council next full meeting Victoria Hall Oakham

This is held in the Gold Room.? on Wednesday 1st December 2010  8.00pm a bit later than normal I assume this is so Councillor can go through the farce that is interviewing a few members of the public who want an easy entry into the Council and the lucky person will be co-opted later.

The Council Chamber
Victoria Hall
High Street
Oakham
Rutland

Not much on the agenda.

Once again the Town Council will appoint a new Councillor due to lack of interest from the public.

The will also consider an application by the Cottesmore Hunt to use Cutts Close on Monday 27th December.

They will also consider two planning applications.

APP/2010/1102/APB Mr Adrian Palmer
Erection of new detached garage and conversion of existing garage into a playroom
36 Stamford Road Oakham

APP/2010/1172/DTR Trustees of Victoria Hall
Publish Post

Installation of notice and events panel to front elevation of building
Victoria Hall 39 High Street

And last will it be third time lucky for the clerk Cllrs will discuss the Third Draft Budget and make any appropriate decisions thereon.

Councillors decided not to increase the council tax burden for next April just before elections in May and a considerably large wage increase and contractors charges are likely to increase so it is making it a difficult task to set the budget for 2011 -2012
