Oakham Festival 2013, Oakfest, Photographs, Oakham Castle, Oakham Market Place

Oakham Festival 2013, Oakfest, Photographs, Oakham Castle, Oakham Market Place

I was so pleased the sun made an appearance today for the festival.

Performances started at 11.30am this morning in the market place where a lone performer was joined
by many more musicians and singers in a flash mob style. After this it was off to the castle.

No thanks to the few horrible officers of Leicestershire police and Rutland County Council or Oakham Town Council I managed to zoom from the gates the following images.

What was very funny about this idiotic malicious ban is that anyone connect to that mob who might
not have wanted to be photographed by me had to pass me on the way in and out. I decided not to photograph some of them because they were too ugly for this set....

Oakham Town Councillor Enid Joyce Lucas I think she was the mounted security steward?

Former Oakham Mayor Jim Harrison (grumpyjag / carpetburns) lookiing happy with his daughter
I switched to Black and white because the dress colour was not to my taste. It now reminds me
of the black dresses friends of our local governance once sent me, they got my size wrong and did not
pay for them so I had to send them back.

Typical Rutland Fashion or is that tropical?
