A woman has died in a house fire in the Rutland village of Cottesmore.
Four fire crews tackled the blaze in the village's Main Street in the early hours of this morning.
A woman, thought to be in her late 40s or 50s, was rescued from the blazing property but later died.
Dr Leon Roberts of the East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme was called to the scene shortly before 2am, but it was not possible to save the woman's life.
