All Oakham Town Councillors are to be summoned to a meeting at Rutland County Council due to the high volume of conduct complaints against members. 

Oakham Town Councillors receive the highest volume of complaints, more than any other parish council within Rutland. The investigation of these complaints is very costly to Rutland County Council.

Often investigates result in a pointless outcome. You only have to look back to the high profile case reported of Cllr Adam Lowe reported in the press and other media and his response was basically so what and despite many successful conduct complaints upheld against him, he remains a town councillor. He did resign from Rutland County Council once again uses the usual excuse, family and charity work etc. Just like the time he resigned as a Leicestershire Police Special Constable,
