UK's largest Tim Hortons store opening in Leicester
The new city eatery, which will be the biggest UK Tim Hortons to date and will open on Thursday, November 28, at 12pm
The building originally opened as Eastgates Coffee House in 1885 during the Temperance Movement.

It is Canada's largest quick service restaurant chain; as of December 31, 2018, it had a total of 4,846 restaurants in 14 countries. On August 26, 2014, Burger King agreed to purchase Tim Hortons the chain became a subsidiary of the Canadian holding company Restaurant Brands International, which is majority-owned by Brazilian investment firm 3G Capital, on December 15, 2014
