What is expected:
As an Admissions Assistant, you will serve as one of the very first points of contact for prospective families. Your mission will be to create a welcoming, warm, and highly professional admissions experience, guiding families smoothly through every stage of their journey from their initial enquiry all the way to their child officially joining Oakham School.
Deliver exceptional customer service to families visiting, calling, or emailing the school.
Administrative Excellence: Manage correspondence, maintain accurate records, and support the broader admissions workflow.
Foster strong, supportive connections with prospective parents and students to help them feel at home before they even step foot on campus.
Candidate Profile:
Oakham School is looking for individuals who bring a blend of administrative competence and interpersonal warmth. Ideal candidates will possess:
Strong administrative and organisational skills with great attention to detail.
Outstanding customer service and relationship-building capabilities.
A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach to teamwork.
Note: While previous experience within an educational setting is beneficial, it is not strictly essential.
