Rutland Flags Oakham Rutland 20 Years of Rutland County Council Oakham Town Council Contribution
Oakham Town Council has spent £50 on flags from George Alan as a contribution
towards celebrating 20 years of Rutland County Council.
It is likely to cost a little more to put them up and take them down.
Some of us on the council wanted more than 10 flags Cllr Joyce Lucas BEM
gave instructions that there should only be 10
Cllr Lucas and her husband have decided that bunting should also surround Cutts
Close.
Personally I feel there is nothing to celebrate about Rutland County Council.

Chief Constable's statement following incident in London
Chief Constable Simon Cole said: “Our thoughts this evening are with colleagues in London and all those affected by the incident in Parliament Square.
“In light of today’s events, it is important we all continue to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity. We are proud of our strong, diverse and cohesive communities here in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and must stand together in the wake of such events.
“Public safety is our priority and we will continue to review the deployment of our own officers, in liaison with our partners. However, it is important to stress there is no specific intelligence at this stage to suggest any imminent threat to our force area."
Report any suspicious activity by calling the anti-terrorist hotline on 0800 789 321.
