Oakham Town Meeting Oakham Mayor Cllr Adam Lowe Insults Rutland County Council Staff and says I hope this is being recorded.
A few members of the public attended and the former disgraced Mayor Cllr Alf Dewis,
at the moment the Clerk Allison Greaves is ignoring me, but is happy to discuss council
business with him. The Mayor Cllt Adam Lowe called Rutland County Council staff
puppets. I wonder who the real puppets are? I find it hard to understand how a former
Mayor who resigned for unlawful conduct is so welcome at Oakham Town Council
Cllr Adam Lowe referred to his charity support, we are now told he personally paid £1000
to a lottery supported enterprise based at the old prison which did not want any publicity?
Without anyone asking Cllr Adam Lowe explained how his £1000 allowance was spent.
His whole speech was utter rubbish.

Rutland County Council AGM 8th May 2017 Video
Rutland County Council AGM 8th May 2017
The Chairman Kenneth Bool (Con) and Deputy Chairman Edward Baines (Con) were
re-elected for another year.
Some independent members voiced their concern about the monopoly of committee and
of positions on the council are dominated by the Conservatives.
Cllr Dale said he would actually like to do something for the people of Rutland
and Cllr Gale expressed his desire to see the council return to being none political.
This meeting was the first I broadcast live and the views have been good considering
I did not publicise it just in case it did not work.
I hope to be able to do the same for tomorrows town meeting at Victoria Hall
