The world renowned concert organist, RICHARD HILLS, is very generously giving a charity recital in aid of the big Appeal which has been launched by St Martin's Church to repair and upgrade this magnificent building in Stamford. The concert takes place at St Martin's Church Stamford on SUNDAY 16th JULY at 5pm.

Richard Hills is widely acknowledged to be one of the very few organists to have bridged the divide between the classical and theatre organ worlds. He has appeared many times as a soloist on TV and radio in this country and abroad. He also made a solo debut at the BBC Proms in 2013 and returned again in the 2015 season.

Somerby Memorial Hall will be open for Afternoon Teas and have invited Somerby Camera Club to stage their first exhibition of photographs taken by members. The Camera Club started 3 years ago with the aim of getting people to enjoy their cameras and the picture they take without getting too caught up in the technicalities. We go out on trips several times a year, including an all night trip to London, day trip to Crich tram museum & camera walks in local towns or just along a country lane. The images on show are members' favourite shots so the choice is wide and varied - something for everyone
