Oakham Christmas Lights and Tree Installed By Subcontractors of Lite Ltd 2017

Oakham Christmas Lights and Tree Installed By Subcontractors of Lite Ltd 2017

some years ago Oakham Town Council spent around £17,000 on new lights for the town

Lights we put up in Mill Street, Church Street, Gaol Street, The High Street and on the old
post office.

In the last two years Lite has sourced the Christmas tree adding a few extra thousand
pounds to the bill.

as the years have passed the Town Council decided for no good reason not to
put lights up in Mill Street.

The Royal Mail no longer want them on the old post office building

The lights vanished from Church Street and the number of light panels on lamp posts
have reduced and the small tree on The Victoria Hall canopy is bent.

A couple of Merry Christmas signs were purchased a couple of years ago

Less lights are put up and the bill remains around £18,000 a year. Lite Ltd subcontract
to a North London company who told me Lite Ltd pay them around £2000

The Town Council have been told this and chose to ignore it and renewed Lite's contract.

The same faulty lights have been put up for another year and many of the bulbs are
now dim.

It is shocking Lite Ltd is paid so much of Oakham tax payer money each year.

If Lite's contractors thing this is properly
decorated tree then I suggest they
