Dear Oakham Town Council,
Please can you tell me the venue of the next Council meeting.
26 May 2010
The local government act state meeting of the parish council can not be held on Licensed premises.
Victoria Hall is a licensed premises, therefore any meeting held on these premises is deemed illegal.
The Town Council can not use the get out clause as there are many other room available in the Town of Oakham that could be used for the purposes of holding parish meetings.
