Bollards I mean Thank You Oakham Town Council

Bollards I mean Thank You Oakham Town Council, after three years of intense debate members of Oakham Town Council decided to fit bollards to stop further damage to grave stones in the All Saints Church Yard.

I can only assume their friends have now made alternative parking arrangements.

Oakham School were also contributed towards the damage and other members of the public. Along with the clergy who now park in the keep clear bay outside the church.

Interestingly Fords conducted a funeral at the church this week and there was no space for the hearse. The space was occupied by two small cars displaying typed cards Oakham Team Ministry. It is clear they have not made alternative arrangement's for parking off the graves.

The clergyman was spotted sweet talking the parking enforcement officer into not giving him a ticket. I wont  name him as he is probably a bit poor on his church pension and I don't know if he is given his ash cash to pocket (this is what the clergy call the fee they receive from the undertakers billed to families of the bereaved for conducting the service) If he does I think he could really afford the fee RCC charges to park just across the road.
