Mayor of Oakham, Cllr Joyce Lucas' Civic Service
It now makes sense why Councillor Charles Haworth, sent me such a rude email late last night.
He had returned from a Civic Service and Reception held by Oakham Town Councils Mayor
Councillor Joyce Lucas.
This of course was paid for by the local tax payer.
As you can see from the photo set, a special cake was commissioned for the event.
Plenty of food and booze was provided for the invited elite.
In the photo set one Cllr and his wife is inccorectly named.

This afternoon I received a email from a reader of my blog name and address supplied.
Dear Martin
You have said “I wrote to Oakham Town Council Councillors. Charles Howarth replied:
‘Why are you sending me this? Please do not send me any emails under any circumstance. Any communication from is entirely unwanted and may be referred to the police for action to be taken against you.’
This is the man who called himself ‘Lardboy’ and wrote such dreadful rubbish on the internet and then became a troll, whom, Inspector Monks protected and refused to investigate or prosecute. Inspector Monks subsequently received ‘Learning Points’ on his personnel file for his failures in investigating the trolls on Oakham Town Council. Hardly surprising when you consider one of the trolls was Special Constable Adam Lowe.
In fact I witnessed Inspector Monks and Cllr Charles Howarth huddled in a carel in Oakham Library together in around April 2010. Coincidentally blogs of harassment subsequently appeared which were frankly crimes of hate, were posted on the internet at the same time. But Charles Haworth is protected by the police. However the police appear to believe that, like Brutus, Charles is an honourable man.
This latest missive from Charles Haworth is odd. It begs the question:
Why did Cllr Charles Haworth unblock your address from his emails? Until quite recently Charles Haworth had said he had blocked emails from you. What sheer hypocrisy.
It would seem that Cllr Haworth has deliberately unblocked his receipt of your emails so that he is able to complain to the police about you – knowing full well the police will never ever seize his computer and investigate his offences against you. Charles Haworth’s message above is in preparation to complain to the police about you – yet again. Is Charles Haworth not aware that as a Town Councillor and Deputy Mayor he holds public office? Is Charles Haworth so secure in his faith in the police that he thinks his vexatious behaviour will be overlooked, yet again, as he tries to inveigle you in a controversy to waste yet more police time? Is this another trivial attempt to paint himself as the victim? I rather think Charles Haworth’s message to you is a repeat of the ‘mince pie gate’ incident last Christmas. Luckily on that occasion the police saw sense and refused to treat Cllr Haworth seriously. Let’s hope that good sense prevails under Inspector Mistry – after all Johnny Monks and the brothel have decamped together to Loughborough and Charles Haworth should try to understand that perhaps the days of Oakham being a rotten borough are now numbered.
