Oakham man receives suspended prison sentence after burglary and theft

An 18-year-old man has been given a six month suspended prison sentence after pleading guilty to burglary and handling stolen goods.

Michael Rowlatt (18) of Oakham was sentenced at Loughborough Magistrates’ Court to 26 weeks in prison, suspended for two years, and to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work

Rowlatt was charged with receiving stolen goods, burglary dwelling and theft following incidents in West Road,

Oakham on Sunday December 25, 2011 and Wednesday December 28, 2011.
