A Letter Writer Asks Rutland Times What Is Going on At Our Councils?
We may never know what is going on at Rutland County Council, but the setting up of the new anti corruption
party is certainly grabbing the publics attention.
As for the Town Council at Victoria Hall, the atmosphere has been grim for a long time. It still has a small group of egotistic and self serving people in charge.
I am not sure if the letter writer attended last weeks council meeting, but I can agree it is a very unpleasant place to visit and I was beginning to think I was the only person who found this was the case.
The Town Council is looking to co-opt new members, there are a few good members and this is spoilt by a rotten core so it does not surprise me they can not attract any new members. The rotten core either win over new members to there way of thinking or they walk away.
