Please be aware - Theft of Metal & Heating Oil
There has been a spate of high value metal thefts recently in the Rutland, Melton and Market Harborough areas consisting of metal cables being removed from telecommunications access points & catalytic convertors being removed from motor vehicles especially over the weekend periods.
Link to these thefts have been flat bed vehicles and vans which do have company livery on the side.
If you are in any doubt or you see anybody acting or anything appearing suspicious please call Leicestershire & Rutland Police on 101.
Calls to 101 cost 15p for the entire call from both mobiles and land lines.
