Leicestershire Police Holiday Advice from PCSO 6049 Liam Bourne

There have been a couple of burglaries in the area over the weekend where occupants were on holiday.
As we are coming up to the holiday period it is important security is not forgotton.

-Tell close family or friends
-Tell them in private not in shops or pubs where people may be listening
-Set a timer light (timer switches available at the police station)
-Set a radio on timer so there are voices in the house.

This may help prevent further burglaires and extra worry when you are on holiday.
