Measham Heart Of The Forest Festival
The
Heart of the Forest Festival is recognised as one of the best community
events in rural Leicestershire. The day starts at 11.30am when the
spectacular street parade meanders it's way through the Village, and
then down the High St, before arriving on the Leisure Grounds. With over
2000 people in the Parade, and entertainment to benefit all age groups,
this is definitely a day not to me missed. The afternoon will be filled
with various world class acts and marching bands, along with an
abundance of side-shows and over 100 stalls. The Festival has maintained
it's FREE entrance to everyone, making this a great opportunity to
entertain the whole family, and join in the festivities of celebrating
life in the heart of the National Forest.
