Appeal after house burgled in Oakham
 

Officers from Loughborough CID are appealing for information following a burglary in Oakham.
The burglary happened between 8.30am and 3.50pm on Tuesday June 19, 2012 when a ground floor window of a house on Cold Overton Road was forced open.

A search was made of the house which is located near to the junction with Melton Road. Stolen from the house were two Apple laptops, a quantity of cash and a number of items of jewellery consisting of a heart charm and two bracelets.

Police would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the surrounding area to please contact them as soon as possible. Alternatively, if you have been approached by someone selling items matching those stolen we would ask they get in touch.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact DC 4142 Emmy Thresh on 101*, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number 4142. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, which is free** and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
