Come And Discover Life On Our Farms ! Mr Jan McCourt of Northfield Farm is inviting everyone
to come and see what happens behind the farm gates...

We would love you to come and walk the farm, investigate the woods. See vintage and modern machinery.
Meet the animals - free range cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, llamas and Jimmy the donkey!
We are currently experiencing a population explosion of rare breed piglets – over 40 have been born in the
last 10 days alone – and calving is also well underway, with the added bonus of very rare twin white
park calves born a few days ago.

Farm shop, butchery and licensed tea room open. Teas, coffees, and home-made cakes will be available
in abundance. We will also be cooking our award winning sausages, bacon and 3 types of burgers to eat
on the day. It will be a yum-fest!

Weather Permitting - Children's treasure hunt to places and animals of interest! Food production,
sausage making and other demonstrations during the day.

Plentiful parking and loos. Wear suitable footwear and clothing for the weather - the welcome will be
warm no matter what!

This annual nationwide event is organised by LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) and along with
Northfield Farm, hundreds of other farms across the country will be hosting events.

Open Farm Sunday is a great day out for the whole family and provides a fantastic opportunity
to find out more about how farmers produce our food, and the ways they care for our countryside too.
