Do you have some spare time to be an On Call Firefighter, do you live and work within 4 minutes of the Oakham fire station. Would you like to be of service to the community and learn new skills?
Then come along to Oakham Fire Station between 10am and 2pm on Saturday the 9th of June and find out what it is all about. Have a go at the physical tests required, speak to existing Firefighters about what the job's like. Develop your personal skills and confidence and learn more about the job.
On Call Firefighting is a paid role normally completed around your existing job or responsibilities. Day and weekend cover is preferred and this may suit parents with children now in school who have some daytime availability.
