Officers from Rutland local policing unit are appealing for witnesses after a shed was broken into in Ryhall.

The incident took place sometime between midnight and 8am on Saturday July 14 in Turnpike Road when a shed was broken into and more than £600 worth of tools were stolen.
An orange Paslode nail gun which was in a large orange case and a box of Paslode 65mm nails was stolen during the incident.

PC Kim Dunstan is investigating the incident, he said:  “We would appeal to anyone who may have come across the tools since the weekend or has been approached by someone trying to sell the items.

“We would also urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area on Friday night (July 13) or early hours of Saturday morning (July 14) to contact us.  Any calls received will be treated in confidence.”
