Rutland County Council Parking Restrictions Burley Road and Woodland View
Although the notices shown above are meant to represent Rutland County Council listening to residents views, most of know this means more parking restrictions are soon to be imposed upon residents.
Vicarage road used to be a favourite parking place for parents from the local schools, now its the grass verges and pavements along Burley Way and Woodland View. A few residents are also doing the same.
Since the Rutland County Council painted yellow lines along vicarage road, some parents take notice.
I am sure this will be the same in Woodland View. The residents of woodland view will suffer because of inconsiderate school parents, many Woodland View homes don't have off road parking some have lost gardens to create car parks, it would be a pity if other residents were to turn their front gardens into untidy car parks.
We see form Vicarage Road, yellow lines only work if they are enforced and often just move a problem up the road as is the case here.
