Pint of Poetry - Open Mic Poetry Evening 8pm Held every last Wednesday of the month at 8pm in the Cellar Bar at Stamford Arts Centre. Come along and bring a poem of your own or someone else's to perform or simply sit back, have a drink and listen!  Very informal evenings hosted by Stamford's Poet Laureate Darren Rawnsley. Current dates for Pint of Poetry: 29th August 26th September 31st October 28th November  Earlier this year we announced Stamford's first Poet Laureate. The winner was Darren Rawnsley, a teacher at Wild’s Lodge School in Empingham. ALSO Monthly Poetry Clinic 5.30pm to 7pm Held every last Friday of the month. Current dates for the poetry clinic are: 31st August 28th September 26th October 30th November. Monday writing forum 6pm to 8pm Monthly (Every second Monday.)
