Come and meet Barnsdale's expert veg growers and have a look around the private allotment areas
which are not usually open to visitors. In the nursery you'll be able to buy exclusive Barnsdale
Gardens organic vegetable plants to get you started on your own plot and on Saturday,
you can meet Liz Dobbs, Telegraph gardening writer and editor of More From Your Garden magazine.
On Sunday, Paul Freeman and Ed Burrows of Barnsdale Lodge Hotel will be demonstrating
some sensational seasonal dishes in the cookery marquee, while for children there will be a
competition to 'Create a Crazy Vegetable Animal'! Get the kids to build a vegetable animal
and bring it along to the Barnsdale Gift Shop during the weekend (but before 12pm on Sunday)
and we’ll add it to our special display. Judging will be at 4pm, with a prize for the lucky winner!
