The girls are off to the races. But not any old races. This is Ascot.
When the famous racecourse relocates up to York for one year, Pearl,
Jan, Shelley and Linda put aside their fish-filleting knives and get
dolled up for Ladies’ Day. Amid the fizz, flirting and odd flutter on
the gee-gees, the girls meet a kaleidoscope of characters in a
life-changing adventure – all to a Barry Manilow soundtrack. Raucous,
heart-warming and moving, this is guaranteed to give you a day out
you’ll never forget.
