Man charged following Langham School burglary and assaultA 32-year-old man has been charged following a burglary and assault at Langham Primary School.The charge follows an investigation into an incident that took place at the school, on Burley Road, between 2pm and 2.40pm on Monday June 25, when a member of staff returned to an office inside and she disturbed an intruder. The intruder pushed the staff member and made off with an old style purple and white Cadbury chocolate tin, which contained cash, and a black Radley purse. The member of staff received minor injuries which didn't require medical treatment. A 32-year-old man has been charged with burglary other than dwelling and common assault. He is due to appear at Loughborough Magistrates Court on October Wednesday 17. Oakham LPU |
