Rutland County Councillors Can Not Verify How Many Staff are employed by the authority.
I am told some Rutland County Councillor are not happy with the figures declared relating to
how many staff the authority actually employs.
There is a whisper in my ear that there could be a few ghost employees at Rutland County Council.
Some Councillors apparently have been banned from entering staff working areas to carry out a head
count of staff.
With regular staff sickness due to pressure of work caused by senior management
it might be best if the councillors visited their homes.
If attendance appears to be good on any given day, to obtain a good count, I would activate the
fire alarm! count the staff in the car park, add that to those who have called in sick and you should get a near accurate figure.
