Victoria Hall Oakham Locks Out Disabled, Finds Rutland Access Group
It was reported to Oakham Town Council last night.
Cllr Lockett represent the Town Council on the committee of The Rutland Access Group
He reported to the council some of the committees findings
The most serious concern was the locking of the side access both the door and gate during the day, which is marked as disabled access .
This could explain why there is no indication to disabled users at the front door.
It surprises me the Victoria Hall Committee don't make this a priority. Instead of worrying about some
Artists dislike of the disabled tenants from Out of the Rut.
Surely a user urinating in the gallery adds to the art?
The continual blocking of dropped kerbs by inconsiderate motorists was raised.
I understand Rutland County Council is to issue £70 tickets to anyone parking in front of dropped kerbs form now.
