Political control of the police is a grave danger to
freedom & democracy. Boycott the Commissioner elections to deny
whoever . .
Nick Griffin MEP calls for us to boycott the Police and Crime Commissioners Election.
Due to political control of the police.
Can some one please explain to me, what the difference is?
Political control by a hopefully elected Crime Commissioner. or a bunch of appointed political cranks
on the police authority. The Leicestershire and Rutland Police Authority Chairman Barry Roper is a Tory and has been appointed to the authority by his fellow Tory mobsters for many years that is not democratic.
At least at the election, we have a chance to remove the Tory interference from our local police.
I am surprised Tory Gene Plews has not stood, I wonder if he would have called for more armed police?
I once read his article calling for the arming of private security guards. It often concerns me so many of
our local Tory councillors are gun mad ex forces personnel and we must not forget those ex councillors who proudly intimidate by recalling how they are trained to kill with their bare hands.
Standing Up. Tory Rutland County Councillor Barry Roper Chairman of The Police Authority.
I agree with Mr Griffin the police should not be controlled by political leaders, but that is far as it goes, I think we should vote. Because we don't want to go back to Tory Old Rope!
I am not sure what the police would do if this man David Bowley Independent won?
For me he is a better option than, the Rutland Tory Dictator Sir Clive Loader.
If we vote at least we get a choice of what political interference we require!
If Nick was to stand I imagine he might turn the clock back in time and permit the police to
give some one a clip around the ear, as long as it was not him in trouble for his tweets?
