At Wednesday councils meeting 7.30pm, Oakham Town Council will consider installing a defibrillator.
This has been considered in the past by the council and turned down.
It surprises me such an inexpensive piece of medical equipment is not available to the people
of Oakham. If you took the money £60k they spent supporting a privately own gym, you could have one on nearly every street corner in throughout the town centre.
I noticed Uppingham has one in the market place, i was wondering if the combination lock is known nationally by first aiders?
