Rutland Times prints inaccurate false Oakham Town Council Press Release.

Rutland Times prints inaccurate and false, Oakham Town Council Press Release.

The Rutland Times said they print stories in good faith, you would think they would learn the town council can not be trusted, they had to print an apology for a local pub after Councillor Adam Lowe gave them an inaccurate statement.

The Rutland Times in the above article states a person was removed from a Planning and Parks meeting by police officers, this did not happen.

Something suggests to me the author of the blog post http://oakhamslaughingstocks.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/from-malice-to-malarkey.html
has something to do with the press release.

Also the biggest clue that the gross blog is connected to the Town Council is given  away when
you read the post, the author refers to Rutland County Council as RCC and them down the road.

A description often heard at Oakham Town Council meetings.

If you wish to read a true account of the events ask Oakham Town Council for the accepted minutes.

There was a disruption this was resolved by the chairman Cllr Lowe.

Then the rather foolish Mayor Cllr Dewis undermined the committee chairman's ruling and demanded
I was removed for my short verbal protest.

I refused to leave because as the minutes say Cllr Lowe was happy the matter was resolved.

Cllr Dewis has always been a bully, once described by another member of the public as the alpha male baboon of the council, he has also been described as stupid by organisations he visits. So it is not surprising he behave like he does. He claims to be a retired officer, yes he looks smart but continually stands around with his hands in his pockets, displaying his trade mark smirk the Chief Executive of Rutland County Council so adores and not forgetting his good old mates at Oakham Police Station especially the one he calls Kam.

The minutes then show Oakham Town Council adjourned the meeting because the police failed to turn up within less than ten minutes. Because I called them corrupt for failing to tender a contract. Oakham Town Council has very high expectations of the local police.
