Calico, Mill Street, Oakham, Drunken Urinal, To Be Closed
APP/2012/0830/DTR Mr Harry Kelly
Proposed minor internal alterations (non – structure) to form draught lobby and small
timber framed customer cloakroom
Calico Bar and Kitchen, 6 Mill Street
Oakham Town Council last night raised no objection to a planning application
from Calico.
Chairman of planning Cllr Lowe, described the area to the left behind the gate
as a drunken urinary. The requested alteration would improve the street smell.
I was surprised to see the kitchen has been used as a cloakroom. I can assume that
food is no longer available here or there is another kitchen.
