Hertfordshire Constabulary, Police England and Wales Police and Crime Commissioner elections, 2012
Hertfordshire Constabulary
Cllr Sherma Batson is the Labour candidate. This election is about the future of the kind of policing we want in Hertfordshire and the resources needed to provide it.
Cllr David Lloyd is the Conservative candidate. The role of Police and Crime Commissioner is one of the most significant and exciting roles to have been developed in our generation: the first elected position with a mandate from the whole of Hertfordshire to reduce crime.
Marion Mason, a former councillor, is the UKIP candidate. Marion is a former Stevenage Councillor and has lived in Hertfordshire for 42 years. As a Councillor she was on several Committees: Audit, Scrutiny Overview, Planning and Development.
Cllr Christopher Townsend is the Liberal Democrat candidate. Dear Hertfordshire Resident, My priorities for Policing and Crime in Hertfordshire are to keep overall crime rates low, balance the books to make necessary savings, and work towards improving the relationship between the general public and the Police.
