TV stolen from Co-op Oakham store




Its amazing how much stock of this type the Co-op has, when 
you consider its planning consent does not permit such sales.

Police have released the image of a women they would like to
talk to following the report of a theft from a shop in Oakham.
The theft happened at the Co-Operative Store in Burley Road at
about 5.15pm on Saturday October 20, when a woman is believed
to have picked up a 32” LCD television and left the store without paying.
Officers believe the woman in the image was in the store at the time
of the incident and are appealing for her to come forward.

PC Joe Lloyd, the officer investigating the incident, said: “We have been
working with the Co-Operative to try and trace the person responsible and
we believe the woman in the image was in the store at the time of the theft.
“If you are this woman, or you know her, then please call us and help us
with our enquiries.”

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact
PC 1312 Joe Lloyd on 101, follow the instructions to leave a message
for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification
number 1312. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, which is anonymous,
on 0800 555 111.

Calls to 101 cost 15p for the entire call from both mobile phones and
land lines. Calls to Crimestoppers are also free, but some mobile
‘phone service providers may charge for this call.
