Melton was very busy with Christmas shoppers today.
This young lady was banned from singing Christmas carols under the CCTV
camera. I wonder if the CCTV has sound and woke them up in the control
room? the young lady was moved on from the Christmas tree by a man from
Melton Estates. I had to keep hiding from Sgt Collier, he had spotted me
and made a comment about me photographing, he is one of my old friends
from Oakham Police, like most Sgts the force sends to Oakham they don't like
photographers or critics of the local councils. Sgt Matt Ditcher was fine
but the bosses much him to a desk job at HQ because he was to honest.
In January Sgt Joanne Hodson is taking over at Oakham she has one year
left until she retires. The way things are at Oakham that appointment might lead
to early retirement.
