Post Office Remove Management Team From Oakham Sub Post Office Opening Hours
Post Office Remove Management Team From Oakham Sub Post Office
A husband, wife and son who live in Oakham and have run the Town centre post Office for a number
of years. They also run a number of Rutland village services.
The Post office was closed by post office auditors for nearly five days.
It was reported by The Rutland Times this was due to the theft of a Royal Mail van.
The post office said the closure and audit of Oakham Post Office was not related to
the theft of the Royal Mail van.
The van was later found in Ashwell.
The Post Office suspend the husband and wife team and have not yet released any further details.
As you might imagine rumours are rife here in Oakham.
The Post Office is now reopened and back to normal working hours with a few new faces alongside the familiar regular staff.
Personally I think they just decided to retire at the busiest time of the year
