Alan Duncan MP for Rutland & Melton and Minister of State for International Development, Comment about Rutland Anti Corruption Councillors
MP Alan Ducan says:
'The Council has been forced to take this entirely proportionate action in response to the disgraceful conduct of these three councillors. Their campaign of harassment went far beyond legitimate and open scrutiny of the Council. Instead, they have brought shame on the office of councillor. The Chief Executive and other officers have my unequivocal support and confidence. Healthy debate and questioning is a vital part of local democracy but that cannot extend to subjecting officials to relentless abuse. I hope that they will conduct themselves with greater respect and integrity following the Council's decision.'
I wonder if Mr Ducan who I have battles with will saying things about our local Governance once Leicestershire Polices serious crime squad finally track down the abuser of myself?
