Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance, Fundraisers, Devastated by Fire at Family owned Rutland Laundry

Rutland Laundry, Melton Road Oakham Closed, due to fire.

The laundrette was damaged by fire
Terry and Mandy Black are now clearing up.
The fire, which was caused by tea towels overheating in a tumble dryer, caused smoke damage to the shop and some machines.

Mr Black said: “Mandy was totally devastated when she saw the damage.

Mr and Mrs Black are active fundraisers for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance
with their good friend Oakham Town Councillor Mason John Nowell.

About this time last year I was arrested and charged for taking the above photograph of Mrs Black collecting in
Uppingham. After I took the photograph she crossed the road dragging her daughter past me into nearby Tory Cllr Baines shop. (I had never met or heard of the family before this day)

Mrs Black and her daughters appeared in the following weeks Rutland Times, as a fund raiser for a good cause the family often appear in their favourite paper. So her objection to her daughter appearing in the public domain
was some what dubious.

The CPS very quickly chucked out that stupid charge, along with other trumped up charges. Mrs Black falsely
accused me of stalking her.

Cllr Joyce Lucas, Ex Mayor Paul Beech and Tory Rutland County Councillor Gene Plews and others all lied to
the police.
