Poster Displayed Caused No Criminal Damage, Leicestershire Police
Posters were displayed on Thursday throughout Oakham naming an arrested Oakham Town Councillor.
Water based glue was used to fix the posters to glass in various locations.
Later in the day I was arrested in the presence of 7 of Leicestershire Polices finest officers and later
charged with criminal damage.
The photograph above taken after one of the posters was removed and the window was washed
shows no damage to the glass. It was stuck in the middle of the shop owners poster shown above to
attract as many viewers as possible.
An officer involved in the case is attempting to obtain statements from a least 15 landlords of empty
properties so she can charge me with criminal damage on the 28th May 2013.
What a waste of public money.
