It is highly likely this evening a parish chairman will be replaced because parish councillors feel he has been nobbled by senior Tory County Councillor.
The parish council is often unhappy with the county council and have written letters expressing their concern.
Recently the chairman of the parish council refused to write to the county council about a planning issue.
The Parish Clerk who is also employed by the county council was I am told summoned to a meeting with a planning officer.
She was told we have been receiving many shitty letters from your parish council. Will they stop and it is said her employment at the county council was threatened.
It is also said letters from objectors to a planning application have been lost by the county council even when a group hand delivered a copy.
Is this proper planning and democracy in Rutland?
